Jonathon Shults

SilencerCo — CEO

Jonathon Shults is a co-founder and currently the CEO of SilencerCo, a Utah based suppressor manufacturer.

Prior to SilencerCo, Jonathon owned and operated a recording studio and worked as a freelance software programmer. Being a firearms enthusiast with sound engineering expertise and a background in software programming, the suppressor industry was a natural fit.

More than fourteen years ago, he began making suppressors quickly creating the most innovative, durable and user-friendly .22 suppressor on the market: the Sparrow 22.  Under his leadership, SilencerCo continued to make waves through the industry, creating the first hearing-safe .45 caliber suppressor, the Osprey 45; the first commercially viable shotgun suppressor, the Salvo 12; the top selling suppressor of all time, the Omega 300; and the first commercially available integrally suppressed pistol, the Maxim 9.

He started SilencerCo in a garage with nothing more than a few machines and a business plan. Now the company employs over 180 people and has shipped more suppressors than any other suppressor company to date.

When he is not running the day-to-day operations at SilencerCo, he can be found spending time with his family, tinkering with projects, or on a dirt bike tearing through a single track in the mountains.

Jonathon currently resides in Utah with his wife Tiffiny and their four children.
