ASA to Host ATF eForms Review at 2021 FICC

HARTFORD, CT (April 22, 2021) – Orchid LLC and Williams Mullen’s Firearms Industry Group announce that the American Suppressor Association (“ASA”) will host a presentation on the future of ATF eForms at the 2021 Firearms Industry Compliance Conference, to be held in Orlando, FL on June 8 – 9. The 90 minute session will be led by Knox Williams, President and Executive Director of ASA and will be delivered by leadership from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

“ATF has and continues to evolve its eForm systems, a project that is critical to the processing of regulated firearm transactions,” said Philip Milks, VP of Regulatory Services at Orchid and ASA Board Member. “We’re honored to have ATF and ASA leadership speak directly to our conference attendees.”

The session will be held the morning of June 8 where ATF will provide a virtual walkthrough of the latest technology as seen in the eForms 4 application. Additionally, FFLs seeking to obtain a broader understanding will have an opportunity to witness the operation of current eForms which include ATF Forms 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 6A, 9, 10 and 5300.11.

And perhaps of greatest value to FFLs will be the unique opportunity to share their perspectives on the future design, operation and integration of ATF eForm systems with FFL business systems. The 90 minute discussion will accompany over 20 other sessions which cover such topics as Raising Capital in the Firearm Industry, Firearm M&A, the Legal Side of FFL Revocations, Advanced eBound Book Principles and Firearm Import / Exports.

The 2021 FICC event will be held at the beautiful Westgate Lakes Resort in Orlando, Florida. Discounted room blocks begin at $89 per night and have been expanded several days before and after the event for business travelers who wish to enjoy the resort with their families. All participants are invited to two cocktail receptions which will be held outside by the Pelican’s Landing pool.

The American Suppressor Association (ASA) is the unified voice of the suppressor community. We exist for one reason and one reason only: to fight for pro-suppressor reform nationwide. ASA represents the interests of manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and suppressor owners nationwide.

Since the ASA’s formation in 2011, 3 states have legalized suppressor ownership and 18 states have legalized suppressor hunting. ASA has actively lobbied in 31 states and US territories, fought to ease the archaic restrictions on suppressors in D.C., testified in front of dozens of legislative bodies, hosted countless suppressor demonstrations for legislators, policymakers, media, and the public, and funded research proving the efficacy of suppressors.
