GEORGIA SUPPRESSOR HUNTING BILL PASSES SENATE COMMITTEE

On Monday, Senate Bill 93, sponsored by state Senator Bill Heath (R-31), passed in the Senate Natural Resources and Environment Committee. If enacted, the bill would legalize the use of lawfully possessed suppressors on firearms while hunting in Georgia.

Georgia is currently one of only eight states that permits the ownership of suppressors, but not their use by hunters in any capacity. For a full map, visit the ASA’s website.

Although SB 93 has passed this critical hurdle, it needs your support to continue to move forward.
