IOWA: CONTACT YOUR REPRESENTATIVE TODAY

Yesterday, House File 384, introduced by State Rep. Matt Windschitl, (R-Missouri Valley) passed 17-4 in the House Judiciary Committee with bipartisan support. If enacted, HF 384 would legalize the possession and ownership of firearm suppressors in Iowa. Iowa is currently one of only 11 states that prohibit the possession of suppressors by civilians. Although HF 384 has passed this critical hurdle, the legislation needs your support to continue to move forward. It will now move to the Iowa House floor for consideration.  This could occur as early as next week.
