Live Free Or Die – New Hampshire Suppressor Bill Needs Your Help

On Tuesday, February 4th, the ASA testified to the New Hampshire House Fish and Game and Marine Resources Committee in support of House Bill 1495. Introduced by State Representative J.R. Hoell (R-Merrimack), the bill seeks to repeal the prohibition on the use of suppressors while hunting.

During the hearing, HB 1495 received opposition from the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, who stated that the bill would encourage law abiding suppressor owners to poach. They also refused to acknowledge the hearing safety benefits that suppressors offer to hunters in the field. Their emotionally driven arguments have no factual basis.

HB 1495 needs your help.
