The American Suppressor Association began working with Sig Sauer in 2016, during New Hampshire’s fight to legalize the use of suppressors while hunting. The efforts proved successful, largely due to Sig’s involvement, when then Gov. Maggie Hassan signed House Bill 500 into law. Since 2019, Bobby Cox, Sig’s Vice President of Government Affairs has served as an active member of the ASA Board of Directors.
