SilencerCo Commits $75,000 to ASA’S 2026 Advocacy Efforts

West Valley City, UT – The American Suppressor Association (ASA) is proud to announce that SilencerCo has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing suppressor reform with a $75,000 contribution in support of ASA’s 2026 legislative and advocacy initiatives.

As efforts to modernize suppressor regulations continue to gain traction nationwide, SilencerCo remains dedicated to ensuring that law-abiding firearm owners have greater access to these critical hearing protection tools.

“Suppressors are essential safety devices, and the current regulatory framework does not reflect that reality,” said Scott Clinger, President of SilencerCo. “ASA is leading the effort to modernize these policies, and we’re committed to supporting that work.”

A recognized leader in suppressor innovation and design, SilencerCo has long been committed not only to advancing technology, but also to protecting the rights of responsible gun owners. Their continued investment reflects a broader mission to promote awareness and remove outdated barriers surrounding suppressor ownership.

“SilencerCo has consistently demonstrated its commitment to advancing our mission,” said Knox Williams, Executive Director of ASA. “Their $75,000 contribution directly supports our ability to advocate for commonsense reforms, engage with policymakers, and educate the public about the benefits of suppressors. Their leadership in both industry and advocacy makes a real difference.”

With the support of partners like SilencerCo, ASA remains focused on driving forward policies that recognize suppressors as essential safety devices and ensuring they are treated fairly under the law.

ABOUT THE AMERICAN SUPPRESSOR ASSOCIATION

The American Suppressor Association (ASA) is the unified voice of the suppressor community. We exist for one reason and one reason only: to fight for pro-suppressor reform nationwide.

The ability of the American Suppressor Association to fight for pro-suppressor reform is tied directly to our ability to fundraise. Since the ASA’s formation in 2011, we have helped 3 states legalize suppressor ownership, 19 states legalize suppressor hunting, multiple states defeat attempts to ban suppressors, and dramatically reduce NFA wait times. This would not have happened without your support. Join us in the fight to help protect and expand your right to own and use suppressors by becoming an ASA Member at  www.ASAMember.com.
