ASA TESTIMONY TO HOUSE NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Tuesday, September 12, 2017, the American Suppressor Association submitted written testimony in support of the SHARE Act for consideration by the House Natural Resources Committee – Subcommittee on Federal Lands. ASA Executive Director Knox Williams was in attendance for the hearing. Following the hearing, the committee conducted a process known as “markup” in which several amendments offered that would have weakened the SHARE Act were struck down. In the end, the committee voted 22-13 to refer the bill to the House floor.
