Tinnitus and Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) are two of the most common service-connected disabilities. They are also largely preventable. At the American Suppressor Association (ASA), we believe that every member of our military should have the tools they need, like suppressors, to protect their hearing while serving our country. When they come home, we believe they should have the resources they need to recover.

That’s why the American Suppressor Association has joined forces with our friends at Special Operations Care Fund (SOC-F) to bring you the Freedom Raffle! 10 lucky winners will walk away with over $60,000 in combined prizes! Every dollar raised in the Freedom Raffle will be split equally between ASA and SOC-F to further our respective missions:

SOC-F

We at ASA are thrilled to represent you in the fight for pro-suppressor reform. Rest assured, we will never stop fighting for your rights!

As the nation’s most trusted experts on suppressor advocacy, ASA will always fight for your suppressor rights! Our priorities haven’t changed since 2011 – the year that we formed. They are as follows:

1

ASA will combat any attempt to ban, confiscate, or further regulate suppressors

In 2019 and 2020, ASA successfully fought to protect suppressor ownership in Virginia.

At the Federal level, ASA has lobbied against multiple bills that seek to ban, confiscate, or further regulate suppressors. Remember CLEO Signoffs? Our work helped eliminate the CLEO signoff requirement entirely.

2

ASA will fight to remove suppressors from the National Firearms Act

The National Firearms Act is an unjustified tax that never should have existed. Nonetheless, it does. The American Suppressor Association will continue to lead the charge to remove suppressors from the NFA, dismantling the law piece by piece until it no longer remains.

3

ASA will work to
Decrease Wait Times

Transfers should take minutes, not months. ASA will continue to work directly with the White House, Members of Congress, and ATF until wait times are a thing of the past!

4

ASA will Legalize Suppressor Ownership and Hunting in all 50 states

Since our formation in 2011, ASA has helped 3 states legalize suppressor ownership and 18 states legalize suppressor hunting. We will not stop until we are successful in all 50 states!

We are a non-profit organization connecting people to the Special Operations community via events and engagements

We created SOC-F in 2013 for one purpose: to make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of SOF families who have given so much for our country and our freedom. We do this by raising money for one incredibly worthwhile purpose: to provide medical, financial, and other support to SOF members and their families in ways that are often not met through other sources–what we call the “gaps.”

How SOC-F Is Helping

We are average Americans who share a deep respect and appreciation for the devotion and personal sacrifice of our SOF warriors and their families. The incredibly difficult and dangerous work that these warriors have been asked by our nation to perform–usually over multiple combat deployments–calls for a response, we believe, more tangible than just thanking them for their service.

1

MeRT Treatment for Brain Injuries

MeRT technology uses a suite of medical innovations to uniquely image the brain, identify areas that may not be functioning properly, and, most importantly, treat problematic regions.

2

Intensive Marriage Counseling

The intensity of service in our country’s special operations forces, usually involving multiple combat deployments, can take a high toll on a SOF member’s marriage.

3

Gold Star Kids Camp

Gold Star Kids are children of U.S. armed forces members who lost their lives in military activities.

4

Many Other Segments

Including Reconnections Camp, Emergency Needs, Addiction Treatment, Medical/Hyberbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and Other Cutting-Edge Medical Treatments, and More
